PAULETTE KIMBALL-WREN, MD, FAAP
Dr. Kimball-Wren is a native Massachusetts resident. She earned a bachelor of science and a master of science in electrical engineering from Tufts University. After working in industry for nine years, she completed post-baccalaureate requirements at the Harvard Extension School and then entered the University of Massachusetts Medical School. After graduating medical school, she completed her internship and residency training in pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts in 2005. After working for another small private pediatric practice in Worcester for ten years, she joined Worcester Pediatrics in 2015. With Dr. Weiss’s retirement, Dr. Kimball-Wren became the new owner in January 2016. When not working, Dr. Kimball-Wren loves spending time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening.
KATHERINE MARINO, MD, FAAP
Dr. Marino was born in Worcester and grew up in Southern New Hampshire. She attended Brooks School in North Andover and went on to Yale (Branford College) where she earned a B.A. with honors in Classical Civilization. After college she attended graduate school at Brown where she earned a M.A. in Classics and a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology. Her research was centered around women’s health in the ancient world which lead to an interest in medicine that ultimately brought her to medical school at UMass in Worcester. Upon graduation she did an internship in OB/Gyn but found that she enjoyed the babies best, so she switched to pediatrics. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at UMass Memorial Children’s’ Medical Center and joined the practice immediately thereafter. She has special interests in genetics and adolescent medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
SCOTT CUSHMAN, MD, FAAP
Dr. Cushman is originally from western New York State. He studied computer science at Dartmouth College and worked as a software engineer in California and then Massachusetts before changing careers. He attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School, then completed his pediatric residency at Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. After residency, he returned to Massachusetts and joined Worcester Pediatrics. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time in the outdoors with his wife and two children.
